Use of Local Counter
 

CSU has implemented a public local hit counter. You can add the counter to your web page in order to display the number of hits and other related information.

You can add the following statement to your web page in oder to show the counter.

<img src="/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?df=YOURINDEXNAME.dat&dd=C">

YOURINDEXNAME.dat is a unique name which can be choose by yourself. However, please choose a reasonable name to memorize.

The output will be as follows:

There are some parameters to customize your counter. For example:
 
 

frame with default frame-color and thickness is 6

digit style D,display comma if more than 3 digits
<img src="/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?df=sample.dat&dd=D&comma=T"> 
digit style B, specify the counter to 709394

display the current time in 24-hr format, style C

display the current date in ddmmyy format
